I’m Tom, an IT and Techy guy from the North West of England. In particular Burscough, Lancashire. I guess I should use this space to tell you a little bit about me.

Ever since I was little, I have always had a keen interest in technology and how it works. I’m never shy to ask questions if I’m not sure about anything as I like to know exactly how everything works. I’m never satisfied knowing that something ‘just works’. I like to know exactly how itworks as the IT industry is constantly developing and changing in many different ways, and in my opinion, this is the best way to learn, by playing with something and getting hands on.

You’ll usually find me at my computer messing around with something technical, out fishing or just look to any techy based internet shopping sites and I’ll probably be there checking out the latest tech.

So this website, what is it? Basically it contains different parts of me. My real world experiences and what I do for my hobbies as well as any IT related fails and success. I’m likely to base it around IT and my experiences in the industry, from just starting out when I graduate from university to when I get my first job and the things I get up to.

Who knows, maybe the content on this site will help someone further down the line or maybe no one will ever see it. Either way I’m glad its here and if your reading, I hope you enjoy the experience.

With only a few years of experience within the industry, mainly from studying and work experience placements, I am still learning and building my skills. However, I have already learnt a good amount and am very keen to learn ones, so will seize any opportunity to do so.
